Accommodation

Maitreya House is in a very remote part of the rolling wooded hills above the Golden Valley and close to Offa's Dyke. The Centre can accommodate 15 people including the studio, mostly in twin rooms,  plus space for about 5 tents.

It stands within a four acre site comprising the house, three wooden cabins, a utility block, many trees, maturing gardens, and an orchard.

See this 4 minute video tour:

The main house has a ground floor living/teaching space with panoramic window (approx 5x4m), which opens via double doors to the dining area (can seat 12).

Also on the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen with gas range cooker, tall larder fridge (but no dishwasher). On the first floor are two twin/triple bedrooms, a single bedroom, and a modern bathroom/shower/toilet.  The house has central heating.

In the grounds are three wooden cabins, each with two single beds, for one or two person occupancy. A further small room adjoins the new timber outbuilding. A modern wooden utility block houses two toilets, two showers, and a laundry.

We also have a self contained studio space for private retreats or as a teacher's space. It comprises a large bedroom, spacious shower room and kitchenette (with washing machine for house use).
